Life Skills Development & Household Tasks

What is it?
Both of these services are covered under the NDIS Core Supports in your plan. Life skills refers to the essential abilities that empower people with a disability to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. These skills are crucial for enhancing the quality of life and enabling participants to actively engage in their communities and manage daily tasks effectively.
Household tasks involves helping participants with household chores they may be limited to or are unable to do themselves. This also includes assistance with cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and meal preparation. ​
We will first ask you what you would like to focus on. We will then provide training and support in various life skills areas of your choice, including-Daily Living Skills, Communication & social skills, Employment Skills, Problem-Solving and Decision Making, Health and Well-being and Household tasks.
We look forward to focusing on your goals with you leading you to feel more empowered to be involved in your community and at home.
